Three Possible Readings
OWL's earlier synthesis piece hypothesised that Aleksanyan and Konjoryan, both Civil Contract parliamentary-faction operators, were sitting out the loud days under bench-rotation discipline, with the implication that one or both would surface in late-cycle slur-register product. That hypothesis was confirmed for Aleksanyan within an hour of the synthesis. It is not yet confirmed for Konjoryan. Three readings remain open:
READING 1 — DELAYED SURFACING
Konjoryan is scheduled to surface in the next 24-72 hours, possibly to amplify Aleksanyan's «մահվան դալալներ» framing into a parliamentary-faction talking-point distribution. Under this reading, his current silence is operational pacing, not absence.
READING 2 — INTERNAL DISTANCING
Konjoryan, voluntarily or under pressure, is sitting out the cycle's most aggressive content because he disagrees with one or more elements (the «citizen is the God» substitution; the «մահվան դալալներ» slur tier; the cathedral-refusal posture). Under this reading, the silence is signal — a parliamentary-faction member silently noting his discomfort by not participating.
READING 3 — UNAVAILABLE
Konjoryan is physically away from a media-active context across the calendar window — travel, illness, family event, conference. Under this reading, the silence is biographical, not political. OWL flags this reading as plausible but unprovable from outside.
OWL does not, at the time of writing, have evidence sufficient to distinguish between the three readings. We file all three as live hypotheses. The relevant follow-up window is the next 7 days. If Konjoryan amplifies Aleksanyan's «մահվան դալալներ» framing within 72 hours, Reading 1 is correct. If he surfaces within 7 days but explicitly distances from any specific April 24-25 product, Reading 2 gains weight. If he stays silent across 7 days, the question of why becomes large enough to require independent investigation.
Why The Asymmetry Between Aleksanyan And Konjoryan Matters
Both men hold the same institutional position — Civil Contract parliamentary deputies, faction-rank operators, neither in the cabinet, neither in the apex tier. In a party-discipline regime where talking-points are distributed centrally, the natural outcome would be parallel surfacing: same day, same register, same tier of attack. That is not what happened.
Aleksanyan surfaced. Konjoryan did not. The asymmetry is the data point. It tells us that Civil Contract's parliamentary-tier deployment is either (a) more individual-discretionary than externally observable, or (b) bench-rotated by name rather than by tier (i.e., specific parliamentarians are the "voice" for specific cycles), or (c) staggered intentionally so the slur-tier output is not distributed across the faction simultaneously, in case the framing draws blowback that the rest of the faction can credibly distance from.
Of the three options, (c) is the operationally sharpest. If «մահվան դալալներ» draws an opposition counter-action — formal complaint, lawsuit, parliamentary censure motion — only one Civil Contract figure (Aleksanyan) is on the record. Konjoryan is not. Other parliamentary-faction members are not. The slur-tier output is, by design, isolated to a single name. If it lands, the faction amplifies. If it backfires, Aleksanyan absorbs and the rest of the faction publicly declines comment.
This is not unusual political-communications engineering. It is the standard playbook for any disciplined faction running pre-electoral pressure against opposition. OWL flags it because the playbook is observable in real time on April 25, 2026, in a Republic of Armenia preparing for a June 7 parliamentary election.
